When you play the game you are given a mission and in order to get a mission you have to drive to the highlighted part of the map, so i guess you can roam around if you want.
I personally think the game is ok. I dont think its that good and plus you dont have a lot of characters to play with.

You can either be good and save the earth, or bad and destroy it. Either way you are given missions or objectives to do. You could check out IGN.com or something to read about the game. Or just rent it to see if you like it =D. All I know, is that the movie was great.

you can be either the good or the bad guy. From the reviews i read, they say you just have to keep pressing the one attack button until the other robot dies. So, no don't get the game.

I only heard bad reviews about the game. Rent it first and then decide.
