I'm not worried about a terrorist attack where I live, but that does not mean that they aren't out there, cooking up ways to kill more and more Americans, as well as anyone else not on their bandwagon. Islamic fascism is a serious threat to peace and stability around the world and needs to be dealt with harshly. Maybe because we have a lot of very talented people foiling terrorist plots in the US, is the reason we haven't experienced an attack lately.

Glad you think so. A month after the attack on America I was awaiting a flight to Phoenix. I overheard one man's cell phone conversation where he used the Arabic word for "attack". I alerted the authorities. He and his companion are still at Camp Delta in Guantanamo.
I also helped a young female member of the Air Force some years ago. She was rendered an amputee by a terrorist bombing in Munich during Octoberfest.
You just keep your head in the sand until the Salafist Jihadists decide to start targetting ostriches!

How likly are you to be in a car crash? But you still wear a seat belt.
How likely are you to be involved in a plane crash? You still pay attention to flight attendant
How likly are you to be robbed in your home when you are sleeping? you still lock your doors.
Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. ever heard this?
