Yeah go ahead blame us in our ignorance.
Do you know what's up in the atmosphere wreaking havoc now? C.F.C.s from the nineteen-fifties! What was exposed to the atmosphere in the, sixties, seventies, the eighties and the nineties haven't even reached the apex of their destructive forces yet!.!.!
The C.F.C.s from the thirties and forties have already gone, and done the damage we see now.
What the hell did my grandmother know about C.F.C.s back in the thirties? She had thirteen kids to raise and a husband who abdicated his responsibilities. In the fifties my dad had married and started his family, I was the first in fifty-four. My mom had five other children, she knew as much about C.F.C.s and carbon poisoning as my dad did. In the seventies I couldn't tell you how many refrigerators, I went through in leaving home. The dozens of different apartments I had depended on everything else my peers, parents, and grandparents lived on...in ignorance!
WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING!! We do now. But the horse is already out the barn door darlin, ...as a matter of fact the animal is racing across the fields wreaking havoc. Now we know it is time to reign it in. May be too late, but it does go to show. "Ignorance is bliss"? That's a destructive myth.
Blame me, my parents, my grandparents. We did not know.
We were only living in the twentieth century.

The whole concept of blame is a waste of time and mental energy and is also spiritually debilitating. First, stop that if you can and watch out for habits of thought that will perpetuate it.
The only thing you can do is take responsibility for your own actions. That includes not taking responsibility for others.
Do you really think the older generation on purpose messed things up for you? That's just crap. Every "generation" has had their challenges. Every young person has felt that they were being left with a tremendous load.
Be a good example for everyone in how you approach a solution to this environmental problem. If you are serious in changing your life to match your beliefs, that will be the most effective way of approaching a solution. Don't give anyone any reason to think YOU are to blame for the continuing situation. Your example in how you live will affect others more than you can imagine. But if you talk a lot of blame, nobody will ever listen to you.
There, that's advice from a 50 year old. Take it or leave it. It really makes no difference to me. That's what age will do for ya!

First exhibit me some global warming now not brought on through solar activity. From the 1850s through 1940 we had a obvious warming fueled by using a spike in sunspots. The warmest yr right here was 1934, which used to be cooler than the usual in the course of the MWP. Then through the 40's and 50s it cooled a bit bit as Co2 stages rose dramatically. It warmed reasonably in the early 60s after which cooled again within the 70s bringing on the first-class Hansen’s first look on the sector stage selling Co2 as a global cooling fuel that used to be going to pressure the sector into the next ice age and starve or kill most of the worlds population. Then simply as this was getting off the ground the solar spot undertaking jumped again and things started warming up again. So on the recommendation of Al Gore Mann and Hansen rewrote their whole state of affairs to compare his alarmist ebook and altered the NASA temperature records to coincide with Co2 stages. This heating interval led to about 2000 with the hottest yr of the cycle in 1998 good below the 1934 report year. Due to the fact that then low sun undertaking has allowed cooling to set in and real scientists are observing carefully to look what path temperatures are going to do. Not too long ago Hansen, Gore and one of the different alarmists have admitted to twenty years or extra of cooling earlier than it starts warming once more, but they at this factor are guessing the equal as any person else!

Blaming is not a good attitude whatever it is. The best way we could do is to confront the problem and give solution to it. This problem of global warming is a herculean task and calls for a collective effort around the world. That's why i salute other organizations doing their utmost effort to show to the world that we have something to do with this greenhouse effect. This is not just the concern of the new generation, this is all about us... the whole generation ..because there is only one earth we live on! Let us save the earth! If not today then when?

Yes, past generations may have done a lot of damage, but playing the blame game will not help the situation one bit. What we need to do is act out. Start looking for, and improving methods of alternative energy sources. Cleaner energy sources. We as humans need to learn to be much less wastefull, and more considerate about how even our daily rutines can effect the environment. Do you leave the water running while brushing your teeth? Do you leave lights on all over the house, even in rooms your not in? Do you take ridiculously long showers? Do you drive to places you could easily walk or a ride a bike? Why don't you take advantage of local public transportation?
Even changing small, simple every day habits can really help reduce your negative impact on the environment.

Go Ahead
Then you can be just like the older generation. Didn't they waste their time blaming their older generation? Not to worry too much though. The solutions are still being created as we speak, by all generations. As time goes by we will all see easier ways of solving the problem.

It is true that older generation or the one earlier make mistakes but it is not constructive to blame. The younger ones are a product of the older. The link is heavy and binding. When this link is uneasy it is always wise to rely on old human virtues. This is how civilisations were built and became successful. So never fret but trust in goodwork and goodness and you will have made alot of personel success.

no, you should blame humanity. you can't blame anyone if you also have a carbon foot print and being "neurologically wired to be a little more carefree" is not a good reason to be stupid (because you know better) and keep messing up the earth. quit being lazy and waiting for others to come fix things for you and set an example.

Emotional blame goes nowhere. Every generation blames the previous one for the predicament they are in.And future generations will blame us if something is wrong. That is one reason why the world is in a mess, blaming everyone else for the problems , .Nobody is perfect ,mistakes will be made.

Of coarse you have the right to blame the past generation because they have contributions maybe in one way or another, I mean some do their parts to help in preventing negative effect to global warming. Others do their parts in not concern about it. I
