There are some people that like anime that are going to act like that. You can either ignore them, or be friends with them if you like. However, if you'd like to find a place where you can speak with other people who are interested in anime that is not on the internet, go to a website called meetup.com. It's a website that lets all people who are interested in a subject (whether it be anime, movies, language, etc) talk to and meet other people who are likewise interested in that subject.

Just because they are anime fans doesn't mean you have to associate yourself with them by default. Their obnoxious attitude is enough of a reason to forge your own path as an anime fan. The Internet is a wonderful place to discuss anime, but outside of the very vocal online community, anime is relatively unknown in the mainstream. Keep your fandom to yourself until you find someone you want to hang out with. No need to be like this other group and be like a TV evangelist, telling how Japan will one day save the world.
Raul T is essentially correct here. If this other group keeps annoying you, just call them a bunch of "weeaboos".

Some people turn geeky about anime because they don't have much else to talk about and they're scared of trying to hold a normal conversation; they'll grow out if it.
I'm not sure where you can meet other anime fans (apart from the weird ones) but they are out there somewhere - Yahoo is full of them. Maybe if you wear a manga T-Shirt or carry a Manga bag or something, they will notice a fellow fan.

Call them weebos. Just because you watch anime and learn some words, doesn't make you an expert on Japan. I bet they are using the expressions wrong too.
Don't dispair, try to find if there is a local anime club in a nearby college. You will surely find someone who is into the same kind of things as you.
Just ignore them.

I see what your saying, well if you can't get along with them, don't try to befriend them just because they like anime. On the other hand, if you've never really talked to them before, you could try that. but if they're still as you said they are, then like I said, don't go out of your way to befriend them. Is there someplace you go other than school where there's alot of people? You might find people who like anime there! I really wish I could be more helpful, cuz this is difficult but, I hope it works out for you!

wtf,she didnt type that much,if you can read, you can read that in a matter of 1 minute or less,well.....i like anime, not a huge anime-nerd though, but i watch is here and their..
1).maybe you could try getting your friends into anime?
2).dont try to be friends with them people,Lol,i know that sounds mean, but if you have rep that would take a hit to it,even if it is mean...
3).If you cant get your friends into it(which might not be that good for trying it) then just keep it to yourself, you dont actually need to talk about it with people, and when you do want to talk about it with people, just go on forums,fan-sites,etc.,where you can talk to people about anime and that sort of stuff..
4).And if you actually want to try making friends with the people who actually like anime, just tell them to quit saying them Japenese words which obviously arent even acurately spelled or pronounced, and actually tell them "of course nobody gets you, your speaking a language they dont know, not stop acting smart",Lol
im not exactly sure all them would be very good things to do,i just hide that i like anime and stuff from my friends, because they would probubly make fun of me if they knew i even cared for it,hahaha
BTW,it pisses me off badly when ever people(in a fantasy world) go around acting like they know everything about japan and bow down to people(japenese ppl) who would kill them within a blick of an eye,you cant trust them(no offence)...
