If it's for profit, it's misappropriation of your image if you don't give permission. If it places you in a "false light," it's defamation. Either way, you can think about taking legal action against him doing that.
Also, if he's doing it to keep you from enforcing your rights under your divorce judgment, or anything like that, it can be extortion which is criminal. In that case call the cops.

wants to or is he saying he is going to? First thing to do is remember how dumb it was to let him take pix in the first place and the next time some dude pulls out his camera, break it.
as for the pix - doubt there's anything you can do. maybe find a hacker who can get into his computer, delete and erase them from any websites he has,
(assuming they haven't already been copied by 100,000 people who will later blackmail you or destroy any hope of you winning a national beauty contest or working for your local school district.)
Then, hire a thief to break into his house and get the discs or negatives - at which point you'll probably be arrested and end up doing prison time for breaking and entering, even though you were trying to protect yourself. But at least you won't have to see yourself on the net cause as far as I know you don't get internet access in the penitentiary. YET.

Report him, but you can't do it until he actually has the pictures posted and you have evidence. This is called exploitation. No one has the right to do this to anyone. If you report it and no one will do anything about it, I am sure you have some very private pictures of him that are so embarrassing that he would not want even his best friend to see.

Depends on your age, country, social circumstances etc. You may mutual friends and hopefully some of those guys will have a shred of decency and may be willing to talk him out of it and return the photos to you.
Depending on your family circumstance, you should confide in your parents. If they go over and talk to his parents, depending on whether they have any decency or not, they may stop him.
If you are a Christian, you could approach your priest. He may be able to bring moral pressure on his parents.
You should also visit a trusted lawyer, there may be ways to warn him in advance of the consequences he will face.
You can talk directly to his sister or mother and appeal to their womanly sense of decency if they have any.
Finally, you must decide how far you are willing to go. If he does post your pictures. In several countries, you can pretty much stab him with a knife and the liberal press, feminists and human rights activitists will cheer you. You might even become a media heroine for having the courage to stand up against injustice. But you can only do that if you have that much courage.

Depending on the state you can get either an injunction or a restraining order. Neither will do any good if he really, really wants to post them.
Once the pictures are posted, you can sue him though.

Have the photographer sue for injunction against the infringement of his or her copyright? Otherwise, the answer would depend upon whether there are any civil rights in your country (e.g., the right to freedom of speech).
