I have had those feelings before and when I was a child I tried to act on them. As an adult I also had those feelings and I made sure that I went to the hospital to make sure that I didn't act on them. I have children and I couldn't do that to them, I would hate for them to have to go through life wondering two things could they have done something more to help me and why wasn't their love enough to make sure that I stayed with them as long as I was needed. If you commit suicide than you have committed a permanent solution to a temporary problem and one that can be dealt with. You also live your loved ones' witha guilt that they will never get over. I think that suicide is the easy way out for the person who did it but it leaves everyone else feeling that they let you down by not doing enough to get you the help that you needed. Is that the legacy that you want to leave them?? Go to the hospital and find someone to help you.

I use to have that feeling more than often in my past. The way I delt with this feeling is by seeking professional help and getting a friend to support me by listening when things bother me. This friend has to have empathy and not judgmental as well as somewhat have good insight. This way they can reflect what you are saying to them so that you can hear what you are saying in these moments. Then you will recongnize what your triggers to these feelings and you wont feel so alone. Plus read some self help books. One good book is called, Finding Your North Star by Martha Beck. Try it. email me if you want me to send it for free. This is how much it can be of a support. ...that is if it is for you. otherwise tell a friend.

Short term, to keep myself from doing anything rash I concentrated on how much it would hurt the people who love me if I did. Long term, I'm keeping up with my medication and looking into therapy.

Just realize the feeling is only temporary---unless, of course, it's permanent, which in that case you're f***ed!
