Actually Valpugra your completely wrong in the 1st part of what you said. I am actually seeking my own self answers becuase in times of crisis I tend to question my own sanity. In doing so I wonder whether I am in fact losing my sanity. At times I feel as if I could be an insane man who realized he is insane. I get problems with these types of things and I fear that I loose the ability to adapt with society. I seek to become a phycologist but I fear that if I cannot help myself I have no business helping others. Althought Valpugra was right, I am in highschool

no...it's when you no longer question it that you are in trouble.

No,
insane people never know they are insane, and they refuse to ever think about this possibility..
then, being different than the majority of people and not being able to socialize with others or thinking in a different direction doesn't mean that u r insane.. u just have ur own way of thinking..
The majority of people do Not think in a right way, and the proof to this is what the world has become today..

That means he is sane for thinking he is insane. Did you know the higher IQ a person has, the closer they are to insanity. Schizophrenics have some of the highest recorded IQs.

Something else to think about - Schizophrenics don't realize they are schizophrenics. The voices they hear and the paranoia they experience is all very real. How do you know you're not? How do I know I'm not? We don't. Those friends you go hang out with could be imaginary people in your head.

The fact that he is sane when he thinks he is insane would categoriacally mean that he would still be a sane person. Thinking of being insane is just a proof that indeed he is still sane. Otherwise if he doesn't know what he is thinking of would mean he is therefore insane.

Ohhhh I see another high school student has stumbled onto what he / she believes is a paradox and is under the delusion that he/she is the first to ask and seek answers to such a hackneyed cliche--mistaking it for deep thought and profound meaning.

A sane man may question his sanity and ponder his existence. Having such an existential crisis and pondering one's own sanity and the sanity of the world is not an insane act. Rather, the very act of self examination indicates that, in fact, he is sane.

Who is to define sanity anyway?

one one hand, a sane man cannot think he's insane, cause he's sane! but on the other hand, if he thinks hes insane, maybe he's right, cause his sanity proves him right about this.

No, it means he is sane. To be sane is to seek to remove oneself from delusion, and delusive thoughts. To think yourself insane is to think that your current Understanding is somehow flawed, and it always is. This is because our perception misses some reality of what is present (infrared light, ultraviolet, x-rays, etc. for example). Thus, he is sane. ^_^ my 2 cents anyway.
