Yes. Mosquitoes are insects, and adult insects breathe through holes called spiracles that are located on both sides of the abdomen. The holes lead to breathing tubes called tracheae. The mosquitoes get oxygen from these tubes and send out carbon dioxide.
Mosquito larvae live in the water and hang upside down from the surface, breathing through a little tube.

most (all?) animals have respiration, that is they metabolise carbohydrates and sugars using oxygen. but small animals don't need to actually breathe with lungs - oxygen can just diffuse into their bloodstream directly. even smaller animals don't require blood.
