I think so.
My Mom says she would never have met my Dad if her Mom hadn't passed away.
Mom had just started College and stayed on Campus, when her Mom passed away suddenly. Not wanting to leave my Grandfather alone Mom went back, to be with her Dad and joined College in the City.
The following year my Grandfather asked Mom to go back to her previous choice of College and Course.
She met Dad on the train, on the way to College. Dad was already a Commissioned Officer in the Navy, and he was reporting to his new Unit.
So you see Mom going on to continue studies in another city brought Dad and Mom together. There is no other way they would have met. As both were from different cities and heading to different cities.

Yes everything happens for a reason. Enjoy the good when it happens, learn from the bad and ponder the ugly. As you do this you will learn that overcoming the bad makes you feel good and you just try to avoid the ugly!

Yes, but sometimes the reason may be that there is actually a certain degree of randomness built into the universe. I believe in God and trust Jesus, but don't believe that everything a person experiences is always part of some "grand plan".
God may have fore-knowledge of everything that will happen to someone, good or bad, but doesn't necessarily ordain or put a "stamp of approval" on everything we do or experience. I think God for the most part leaves us alone unless we pray and ASK for intervention.

I think we all have a point to reach. Fame, marraige, birth, wealth.. It's different for everyone. But some people make some of the worng choices along the way, ending up where they aren't supposed to be. But then again, maybe they had a better time doing that instead of getting famous or whatever. So, yes, I do.

I believe there is good reason to grow through the bad which leaves an ugly impression, which propels further growth.

It is actually more accurate to say, there is a reason for everything that happens. It's a cause and effect thing. For instance...If there is a creation, there must be a Creator. And since He created us He must have had a reason for doing so.
And, in fact, He did have a reason.

Its old saying that has been passed down for many years. If you miss out on buying a home, one would say "Everything happens for a reason, it wasn't meant to be" Its just an expression

I was born -good
I grew up -bad
will meet death - ugly .
I think there is no reason to this cyclical phenomenon .
Everything else in-between is mere co-incidence known as 'reason' when you try to justify their occurrence in your life.
