It is really hard to be friend's with a guy and have neither one of you want more. The truth is that the girls with guy friends are NOT acting. If you're worried about how to be, then you are not going to just be yourself. If you can, watch a movie called, "13 Going On 30." It will help you a lot with this.

I used to have several male best friends (before marriage kind of changed things) and I never acted like a guy to get them. But I do like sports and drinking beer and joking around and I am pretty much of a smart alec. I was raised with two brothers, a dozen male cousins, and 8 uncles. Plus, I do not take myself too seriously or am too "high maintenance" so guys tend to relax around me and feel comfortable with me. Even now, I prefer the friendship of a male to that of most females.
And you may very well fall in love with one of these guy friends--it happened to me and we've been married for 12 years!

Honestly, if you are good friends/best friends with a guy, at one point you will fall for him... As to how to act, act like a guy -not too much-.. You should watch sports, play sports -football is a good one- and video games are nice to.. If they like something learn to like it too. Then you are both alike in a way... I had a Best Guy friend in the states and we played foot ball, video games, hockey, nerf gun wars, card, and board games...
But!!!!
"A guy and a girl can be friends, but at one time or another the one will fall for the other, maybe oo soon, maybe too late, or maybe just forever..."
Remember that... and respect him around his guy frineds... cause guys need guy time to! Hope this helps you and if you need more help feel free to e-mail me.. I am 15 by the way! =]
Bye!~ =P

Unless you befriend a gay guy, there is always the chance of him falling for you or you falling for him. That's the tricky part about having a guy for a best friend.
Some girls have guys for best friends because they have a better connection with them than girls. Simple as that. (Maybe the girl has only brothers and can relate better to guys.)

They do not act like the guys. When guys hang around as just friends there is no romantic interest from them. Don't worry what others do. You just enjoy what you like and your friends and family...

it kind of seems to me like you WANT to fall in love with a guy friend... but that's perfectly normal... anyway. i have two close guy friends which i've never had feelings for and i basically act like myself... then there's the guy friend i'm in love with, and i'm myself around him too. =) hope that helps.

when you have good guy friend, your judgement towards guy
will be more accurate than girls just sit down there and waiting for prince to rescue them!!!
U need to approach to guy you think is nice!!!never come across mind that he must become my boyfriend in future, otherwise u may lost all the good one!!!
mind straight, character will straight too....it is very easy!!!!

tell him straight up your intentions we don't bite and less chance of hurting his feelings. if he takes offence he wasn't worth having as a friend. i have plenty of girl friends as in just friends and never have any issues.
