Well i agree with it being there for the all-star game but i think the homerun derby should go to fenway just because there field is like mentally challenged which is great to watch while hitting monster homeruns

It's defiantly going to in St. Louis in 2009. That's already been announced. But after that I would have to give it the Anaheim Angels (I hate the Los Angeles part of the name!) for 2010.

Anaheim has been a serious West coast contending team for nearly a decade and won the World Series in 2002. They have a beautiful stadium and typically great weather in California. They've earned it, they should get it in 2010.

Note: The AL Team that has gone the longest without seeing an All-Star Game at home is the Kansas City Royals. Last they hosted the All-Star Game was in 1973. Also Tampa Bay is the only American League team yet to host an All-Star Game. Just food for thought.

Great American Ballpark

the reds have a perfect stadium for homerun derby with short fences.. and a deep shot to right field could be an easy ohio river shot

I bias to Great American Ballpark. Not sure how many new stadiums have not yet had an All-star game but my guess is they will work the game to each of them in time.

St. Louis is in 2009.

And I would've picked it anyway.

2010 will be an AL franchise, since they alternate.

I think MLB likes to have the All-Star game in old parks going out or new parks being broken in.

2009 is in Busch Stadium in St. Louis so the next undecided is 2010. Bud Selig said that Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City will host an ASG between '10-'14 so they are a good bet to have it. They also have to alternate between AL and NL parks with this year being an exception.

i think of that followers ought to have like a 30% say and then the those that decide for for the NHL awards ought to have the different 70%. look on the starters this 12 months, the Montreal followers voted many times and there have been in basic terms approximately all Montreal starters, needless to say an exceedingly biased vote

09 is in St. Louis Busch Stadium.

but I wouldn't mind seeing my home field Chase Field in AZ getting the all-star game sometime soon
