"I'm not saying NOTHING!" Like for example, I might tell something that happened about an unfortunate event about something that happened to me, & the friend might say "No comment". or "I'm gonna leave that subject alone". & by personal experience, when they say that, that means that they figured I deserved what bad happened to me, but just don't wanna say it. Like I just told a so-called friend about me not making good grades in courses that were easy A's & she said, "I'm not sayin' nothin'." Like deep in her heart she wanted to just LAUGH IN MY FACE.

Is that a true friend? A friend who when you tell her your problems, she says NO COMMENT b/c she figures you deserved what bad happened to you?

I had extenuationg circumstances that caused my grades to be poor. Like me moving around a lot because of being a homeless college student. No this is not my fault.

Yes you have it exactly. I think that is so rude when someone says that. FRIENDS don't say crap like that in my humble opinion.

Did you ever stop to consider that maybe you don't take criticism well? I have a feeling that no matter what "unfortunate event" befalls you, you have a tendency to want to be coddled. Deep in your friend's heart, she probably wants to kick your *** for screwing up! And, in my opinion, she's being a GREAT friend by choosing not to say anything at all because she doesn't want to hurt your feelings. Example - "I just told a so-called friend about me not making good grades in courses that were easy A's".
If they were easy A's, why didn't you get them? Sounds like you already know you screwed up - so why question your so-called friend's loyalty?

In a way yes and in a way no, it's not like she is laughing in your face, but then she should be supportive. I know it's hard to figure out a good way to cover how you feel. Do you know for sure that she figures you deserved what happened to you, and does she say that to all your problems? Try to look at it from her perspective as well as your own, and talk to her about it.

The person is unable to deal with your problems. The person may believe your either exaggerating or you perhaps you wanted (fantasy) whatever had happen. For example: If you told your friend that you where rape, you friend may had felt that this was a sexual fantasy despite the fact that it really did happen. Some people enjoys the the thrill being sexual control including men.

i think you are reading wayyyyyyyyyy too much into a casual comment.after all what can she do about your poor grades etc etc.........you are not actually asking her to solve your problems are you, you are just sounding off to her and she knows so does not really say anything about the subject. and she said NO COMMENT, not no comment cause I think you are being an idiot and not doing your work and deserved the bad grade...................
