The Great Music Starter Kit, by Sarah T.

I'm not sure what your taste is, but here are some great songs you should start with. If you like them, look into more songs by the same artist and the related artists in parentheses where applicable.

Revolution, by the Beatles. (John Lennon, Paul McCartney)
Don't Stop Me Now, by Queen. (Thin Lizzy)
Pride, by U2. (Keane, Coldplay)
Gracie, by Ben Folds. (Elton John, Ben Kweller, Denison Witmer)
I Dare You, by Shinedown. (30 Seconds to Mars)
Baba O'Reilly, by The Who. (Yes, Led Zeppelin)
Californication, by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Go Your Own Way, by Fleetwood Mac.
Maybe, by Janis Joplin.
Defying Gravity, from Wicked. (Rent, Chicago, Phantom of the Opera)

Enjoy as I have!!!
