um... No. That movie looked HORRIBLE. Although the guy who plays santa is really funny. And of course the main character... Vince vaughn. but other then that, America has already seen ' the Santa clause" and it's sequel, we don't need another one.

Have to disagree, don't think it will fair well and didn't look that funny in the trailer.
Think the casting is a bit off...both Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti always play everyman loser type roles...just too much sameness. Whould have to have an excellent plot line and fabulous screenwriting with strong character development/interaction for it to work and frankly, both actors do ok, but there range is pretty limited.
Yeah, I know they are suppossed to brothers, but brother movies are always more funny with they are totally different...would be funnier if the cast a "pretty" boy/playboy as the brother...like Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear or Brad Pitt for older brother, or Ashton Kutcher as a younger one.

Looks like a good flick, but both stars, Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti, are acquired tastes. You either love them or you hate them. Great premise and the trailer looked good, but Christmas-themed comedies have not fared well traditionally (Christmas with the Kranks, Mixed Nuts, Jingle All the Way, The Santa Clause 3, etc). 'Elf', 'Christmas Vacation', and 'Bad Santa' are the only 3 successful ones I can remember.
