Simply put if he finished his career after this year he be a first ballot HOF. Since I'm sure that won't happen I believe he'll finish his career in about 10 years with a couple more MVP's under his belt and I'm pretty sure he'll be the new homerun KING. And I'm a huge RedSox fan. I don't respect how sometimes he plays the game but his achievements and future potential are way too much. He'll be one of the top 5 players in the history of baseball.

I hate to admit this but I am a Rangers fan. When A-Rod did what he did it pissed me off, but he is an excellent player and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. I am rooting for him now to hit as many HR's as possible so you know who doesn't hold the record for too long. He would get my vote.

easily, he's on pace to break the homerun record which is an automatic ticket in and if he hits the same amount thatt hank aaron did from this point on he would finish with 996 homers heyyyyyyoooooo

There is no such thing as a "lock" for the Hall.

But I have a hard time imagining any way even remotely possible that Rodriguez could miss.

But he chokes in the games that really count. A true hall of famer doesn't kneel down when the rest of the team relies on him. Then again, the hall of fame is going to be full of dirty players soon anyway, so what the hell, might as well put F-Rod in there too.
