I actually prefer pencil because I make a lot of mistakes and I tend to accidentally smear ink. But I'd choose black over blue because I think black just looks better. Purple is fun also.

Black. It is more solid, more serious, more like I really mean what I'm saying with my words. I write quite a lot, and I find that I think better in black. Blue seems tentative, and other colors seem frivolous unless I have a particular message to convey with color.

I don't write in pen. EVER! Seriously I am like the worst speller out there. It is taking me like a really long time to type this without error. I love my handy dandy pencil.(Cheesy I know) If i had to choose a pen though i would write in black, just because it is more formal. (Wow. i have to learn how to be less uptight.) LOL. For some odd reason blue, i hate writting with a black pen.
But my new thing at work is to write with a red pen.........

Black because the Marine Corps only allows you write in BLACK pen, so it's now instilled in me.

I like black. It looks more official. But lately I've been using a purple ink pen, kinda digging on it. I feel like a rebel.

Black pen - I think it's the most clear to see since there's the biggest contrast.

Blue, so I can pretend that I am back in kindergarten, coloring a picture for Mrs. Heinbaugh, if only for a moment. And for some reason, my cursive just looks better, so much prettier in blue.
