Yes, it is. Sterling silver is what a lot of pretty inexpensive rings are made of. Plastic is the stuff that turns ur finger green! :]

It can cost even less than that and still be sterling. You can be sure by checking inside the ring, if it's sterling it will be stamped somewhere with either STER or 925.

Yes definetly.
If a ring is only $25 - even it will still be stirling silver. Silver is very cheap. - It only increases in price when it has cubic zirconias etc in it

its probably silver plated. and once the silver plating wears off it will probably turn your finger a funny color.
