Flyers fan here so my top 5 are:
NY Rangers - Biggest rival
NJ Devils - Most recent rival
NY Islanders - Beat the Flyers to start their dynasty on a missed off-sides call. Remember the old days when the Flyers faced the Oilers in the first round and the Islanders in the Semi-Finals?
Buffalo Sabres - Matthew Barnaby and defeated them in their second cup win.
Boston Bruins - They beat them to win their first cup.
EDIT: Bob, good point that I overlooked. I would replace the Bruins with the Canadiens on further review. That series was incredible. Wasn't that the same series they had the pre-game brawl in?

I guess whoever said that Nashville does not have good fans is poorly mistaken. Go up to section 303 and see what it feels like from up there.

Well, I can't speak for everyone else, so these are my top 5.
1. Islanders
2. Red Wings
3. Lightning
4. Carolina (for moving from Hartford)
5. Devils (though not so much)
Again, these are my top 5, and just my opinion. Everyone has their own list, and would be very different than mine. However, just because I list a team as disliked, doesn't mean I don't respect them. I do give all five of those teams credit for what they've accomplished, and anyone who doesn't agree isn't a true hockey fan.

5 teams I dislike the most...
1. Sharks-I live in San Jose and I hate these fans...I might also add I hate the Raiders because of...*drum roll*...the fans!
2. Leafs-Domi...I freakin hate him
3. Senators-I do have to admit though they didn't bug me as much this year...maybe it would be different if they won
4. Penguins-I hated them with Jagr and now I hate 'em with Crosby...
5. Rangers-Once again, Jagr. Also, with them trying to buy championships now I hate em even more. Who do they think they are? the Yankees?
My teams are-
1. Capitals-I have no idea how I started liking them since I live in San Jose and they never play here. 9 years ago I just decided I like the Capitals lol
2. Flyers-my dad is a huge Flyers fan and he taught me all about the 70's Flyers and then Legion of Doom and I love that era of hockey.
3. Ducks-I liked em before they were good. My first hockey game ever was watching the Ducks in San Jose...they lost :(
4. Avalanche-I love Forsberg, Sakic and Roy
5. Canadians-Just the history of that team is incredible

AS a west coast Canadian
1) Toronto!!! This is on a logarithmic scale. Hate them more than the dislike for teams 2 to 4 combined. It's a team of yesterday. Only old geezers cheer for them (I am pretty old, and you have to be over 50 to remember them winning, so what's with all the hype?) It is broadcast on TV too much, when I want to be watching Ottawa or Montreal play instead.
2) Nashville - don't deserve a team, not enough fans, boring hockey
3) Phoenix - losers, there is no hockey in the desert
4) Edmonton - spoiled, conceded
5) New jersey - boring hockey, no fans. When they win and go far into the play offs it just means the playoffs are going to be boring

Having lived in Montreal & Ottawa the last 20 years,
it's no surprise that the Maple Leafs top my list.
But before they shipped out to Colorado, the Nordiques
were the most despised team. (But what a great rivalry!)
To round out the list : Anaheim , New Jersey and Philly

1. Toronto Maple Leafs- I'm just so, so, so sick and tired of watching the crappy Maple Leafs and listening to their cry-baby fans.
2. Calgary Flames- Legally obligated since I live in Edmonton.
3-4. Anaheim, Nashville, Florida, Tampa Bay, Phoenix, Atlanta and Carolina. Because none of these teams should exist.
5. New Jersey Devils- They're god awful boring, even if they are brilliantly managed.

My most disliked:
1)Detroit Red Wings - I liken them to the Yankees (Evil Empire)
2)Calgary Flames - You can't spell Flames without L-A-M-E
3)Colorado Avalanche - Two Words - Steve Moore
4)New Jersey Devils - I just hate em
5)New York Rangers - Besides Detroit, they are the only two teams we ever get to see here in the states on TV.

My least favorite teams are as follows:
1. Vancouver - the worst fans in hockey
2. Devils - boredom factor
3. Avalanche - dying rivalry with wings, dislike their newbie fans
4. Toronto - respect more than dislike. used to have a nasty rivalry with Wings when they used to play what, 12 times during the regular season
5. Los Angeles - they like to roll over and play dead
