I was just curious it might cost to transform a Dodge Truck W/ a hemi that is a half ton into a three quarter ton, and beef up the brakes for a horse trailer?????

it would cost a lot,because basically right now you have a half ton frame,even if you beefed up the suspension and put dual wheel rear end in it,that still wouldn't make it a 3/4 ton truck,you could pull a horse trailer with it though,but to be safe about it if i needed a 3/4 ton truck id trade it in for a 3/4 ton truck,that had what i needed on it,yours would carry a good trade in value,but the cost to trade it would be less than the cost to try and transform it in to what you need,good luck hope this helps.

Quite a bit. The frames are different, and so is about everything else with the drive train.

You may want to consider a new or even used Ford F-250 or even a F-350. Just get one with the power stroke diesel. They are great for pulling a horse trailer.

We make them in Louisville, KY home of the KY Derby, and Churchill Downs. So we pull a lot of horses with them. good luck.
