Chief Executive Officer. The buck stops with him. He is the boss. Usually the founder, or can be appointed to the position by the founder. Kinda like The President, but for a company.

A CEO is the Chief Executive Officer, who is in charge of the entire company. He is the big shot who makes the major decisions and also the BIG bucks. Sometimes he is the creator of the company and other times he is the executive who works for the company. Best Wishes!

Usually a guy who has an MBA so he should be pretty smart. The fact is that some of them are genius, and others are greedy idiots who got lucky and make huge income.

In many cases, they don't know very much, but are smart enough to know who to ask when they need an answer.

They don't have all the answers by themselves.

Chief Executive Officer is a corporate officer, he would report to the board of directors, he oversees all operations and his direct reports would be other corporate officers and department heads unless there was a level of mid managers between.
