Love is when you can't wait to see that special someone, and every time he leaves you don't want to say goodbye bc you don't want to live with out him. You could be doing anything with them and it just makes you happy, even if your in a bad place. You wake up thinking of them and go to bed thinking of them, and just when you don't expect to think of them they come back into your head. You lose all your words when you see them, but it's ok bc they know whatever you can't say. They understand you through everything, and stand by you through everything. They are the wieght that keeps you from flowing away. That specail person makes you smile even when you extremely upset, or they can make it seem sunny even on a rainy day. In the end they are always here for you no matter what.

Love: The most misunderstood word in the world. I am not sure it can be defined.

Greater love hath no man than this; that a man lay down his life for his friends.....Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;....God is love. For God so loved the world that he gave.......

If we are those made in the spiritual image of God and God is love, then love must be at the very core of our being. It must encompass desire and passion, yearning, compassion and a willingness for giving; and even sacrifice, when nothing else will do.

Scripture says that charity is kind, seeks not her own; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things and never fails. Love then must be our position, our direction, our focus and our consuming response.

Some say love is good willing and some say agape which is passionless and disinterested. I believe passion that seeks its own is lust; but passion that seeks not for itself is love and cannot be disinterested. What then, if God is love and our God is a consuming fire?

In our hearts is an ability to have communion in the spirit with God and with others. God is love, that union is love and that communion within us is love.

I think I will have to say that God is love; and Love is our goal, our purpose and our destiny.

Love is an idealistic concept created by poets, but popularized by Corporations. It's an abstract concept that I feel is not real - you can never truly love anything - you only have affection for something. If love exists, how do you prove it?

Love does not exist biologically, there is sexual desire which leads two organisms to come together and have offspring. But soon after this sexual desire fades and in nature the two separate.

There is affection (which is what most people misinterpret as being 'love'), it's this affection that a parent feels for their child, it's this affection that owners feel for their property. It's this affection that we feel for ourselves.

Love does not exist in the way it is described (it is NOT eternal, it is NOT tangiable, it is NOT infinite, and it is NOT provable).

I order for me to say that I was in love with somebody ( female of course ), I would have to have a strong " passionate " affection for her that would make her # 1 in my life, next to my Savior , Jesus Christ.
Love would be , for me, a deep feeling for a woman that would make me want to spend the rest of my days with her, and her alone. No fooling around with this guy. I couldn't possibly do that to the one I love. I'm a one woman man who treats a lady with respect & equality.

Absolute contentment, nothing else is need'd, not even God. No future. The very moment of love is eternity. And you cease to be you are no more. If you still are, then you have not entered the temple of love.

There are as many kinds of love as there are people. Adolf Hitler, for instance, killed millions for his twisted love for Arians. Mother Teresa sacrificed everything for her love of humanity. Can you compare these two kinds of love? Of course not. Love is relative. The only absolute kind of love is Universal Love, as big as time and space.
