I've been "GOING GREEN" since long before Gore jumped on the bandwagon. Haven't seen the concert and have no desire to.
One thing you people never think of is that going green saves not only the environment but will save you money, too. Buying a car that gets 30MPG as opposed to an SUV that gets 10 will save the average person over $1000 a year. Replacing all your lightbulbs with CFLs will cut your electric bill by 20%. Planting trees increases your property value.
Keep throwing your money away. I prefer to spend mine on important things.

Nope. Although I did enjoy some of the music, I don't need a bunch of overpaid, spoiled brats to tell me how to save the envrionment when i know full well they don't practice what they preach. I doubt that me leaving my cell phone charger plugged in the wall is doing the damage equivalent to Madonna's multiple mansions and jet trips around the globe.
I care about the enviornment. I do my part. And I do it quietly. I don't want this hysteria jammed down my throat by anyone, especially the gov't. Something as simple and logical as saving the planet has been warped into a radical political agenda and a money-making craze. It's nuts.

Did you know a Prius can go 100 MPH? It's been proved.
My favorite line from the concert is when they asked the crowd how many of them didn't use air travel to get to the concert. I wonder how many of the entertainers drove their Prius's to the concert!
I'm with Earnest. I'm tired of watching a bunch of hypocritical twits telling us we don't do enough of this or enough of that. Shut up and Sing. Amen.

ok, a site visitors secure practices engineer who would not be conscious of the adaptation between precipitation and climate thinks international warming is a hoax. And we could desire to continuously care why? No, needless to say i don't agree considering the undeniable fact that's a stupid conspiracy concept. "and could the alarmists in basic terms hotel to tackling the guy and not the ball yet lower back in this one?" i'm sorry, yet precisely what's 'the ball' thus? generally in that context i could think of 'the ball' is the helping information provided by using the author of the declare. however the only 'information' he gives you is a failure to differentiate between precipitation and temperature. there is no ball to handle, and you be conscious of it, it incredibly is why you made this assertion. you're perfect to authority, and that is not even a real authority. *edit* I actual have an MS in physics, yet i'm not a physicist, i'm an environmental scientist. Calling a site visitors secure practices an engineer a physicist in basic terms because of the fact he has a physics degree is in basic terms incorrect.

For over 25 years it was my job to care for a small amount of the earth, and today we still own a small farm. What these people are talking about is communism, they have no idea about the earth.
I can guarantee you we can easily kill each other but we will never hurt the earth, it will out survive all.
Nature abhors imbalance and it will do what is needed to solve that imbalance. Animal and plant extinctions are the result of that not man.
These people who think man influences the environment are totally clueless and brainwashed.
Yes I take care of the earth, proud of it, do it well, but these whackos are just that, nuts.
The concerts by the way were a financial flop, no one cares about their BS, except for the looneys

I was surprised that nobody in the planning team for the concerts seemed to have noticed the irony in having a massive sound system, tons of stage lights, and huge bright video screens, with many thousands of people driving to a concert, but yet claiming this was promoting energy efficiency...
I wonder how many carbon credits it took to offset all that lot.

I'm using the Al Gore approach. I intend to use an incredible amount of fossil fuels, and pay myself to counteract the carbon dioxide, completely ignoring all the pollutants.
Not really. I would have bought a Prius (to save money) the last time I bought a car, but I did the math, and I would have had to drive it for ten years before I broke even over the Corolla, and that was the bottom tier Prius.
