My mom keeps telling me theres a lot to do but all I know that Vegas is famous for is casinos and strip clubs. By the way I'm 15. By boyfriend whos 17 is supposed to go with us but he keeps backing out because he says hes gonna be bored the whole time. Is this true?

That is totally false!

There is SO much to do out here!

Depending on where you are staying, Most Hotel-Casinos have shops, restaurants, arcades, shows and a pool.

You can go to the Adventure Dome and go on all the rides, visit the arcade and the circus shows. New York, New York you can ride the roller coaster around and through the casino. You can enjoy the go carts and roller coaster at the Sahara casino. At the end of Las Vegas Boulevard, you can visit the Stratosphere hotel and enjoy the rides at the top.

If you enjoy shopping, it doesn't get any better than the Fashion Show Mall. The Fashion Show Mall has world class shopping, dining and actual fashion shows that take place on a runway that rises from the floor in the center of the mall.

Their is amazing dining and entertainment everywhere you turn! There are free shows at The Rio, Fountains at Bellagio, Volcano at The Mirage, Lion Habitat at MGM Grand, Siren Show at Treasure Island and the light show in Downtown Las Vegas.

There is an amazing aquatic habitat at Mandalay Bay called the Shark Reef, You could spend hours in there without getting bored. There is a classic car show at The Imperial Palace with everything from Marilyn Monroe's Pink Cadillac to Hitler's Mercedes - Great place!

There are celebrity impersonator shows nightly at The Stratosphere and at The Imperial Palace, The one at Imperial is the best. You may enjoy seeing Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian, it is a great production!

Of course you can wander the casinos, many of them offer shopping and over the top sights. Caesars Palace offers The Forum Shops which house top designers such as Prada, Hermes, Versace.. It is not to be missed.

If you like discount designer outlets, there is a huge district of outlet stores in downtown Las Vegas! If you are renting a car, a 15 minute drive out to Primm Nevada will treat you with great outlets (Burberry, Tods, Neimans, Coach), flume rides, roller coasters and great dining!

If you also want to see the sights, The Valley of Fire, Death Valley, Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon are all within a few hours of the city.

All in all, there is so much to see and do that you probably regret doing one thing and not having the time to do another. Also, it is great to kick back and relax and not have to do anything at all! If thats how you are feeling, many hotels offer amazing spa services at affordable prices. All of the top resorts feature amazing pools and water features, perfect if you just want to lay around in the sun and order non-alcoholic drinks.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy yourself.. If you want company - I'm available :P

Take Care!

Las Vegas is probably the most fascinating and engaging city in the world and with hotelbye you will find out more. Nowhere otherwise in the world you will discover a city that has all the journey amenities that just a total resort destination could offer: magnificent casino resorts, fine dining, wonderful stay amusement and state-of-the art convention and deal display facilities. Las Vegas happens to be a spectacular town and anything that you would assume from the world-class area, and more, is below for the journey pleasure. Among the areas you should visit in Las Vegas may be the Fremont Street, a pedestrian place with a myriad of distinctive sites.

There's a lot you can do! First, about every other hotel has either rides (coasters, simulators, ets) or an arcade game area. Circus Circus has a ton of rides. Then, every hotel has some sort of theme & crazy stuff to get people in it. There's a volcano, free pirate show (actually good), singing elvises (dumb but funny), fountain shows, etc. There's also shopping. The Fashion Mall is great, an outlet is near, Caesar's Forum Shops, Venetian....And of course there's downtown, with a crazy light show on an overhead canapy and cheezy Vegas theme. There's always people watching, too--Vegas seems to bring out the freak in everyone! If all else fails, there's also the hotel pool! So yes, you will miss out on the drinking & gambeling, but there's plenty to do!!!

Well, all of the hotels you have chosen are reasonably close to eachother and are at the south end of the strip, perhaps that is why you chose them. MGM Grand is one of my favorite hotels, I absolutely love that hotel. The rooms were amazing and comfortable, and most importantly (to me) the rooms didn't smell like smoke. The pool is amazing, the restaurants are great. I have never really seen any celebrities there except for Kurt Thomas and I assuming he was in Vegas because he was traded the day before :) It is the the last stop on the monorail on the south end and quickly connects you to the rest of the strip. New York New York has an amazing casino. I love everything about the ground floor. I have heard the rooms tend to be smaller at this hotel. Mandalay Bay is amazing. One of the Southern most strip hotels with mini monorail connecting to Luxor and Excalibur. The hotel in its entirety is amazing. Good pool. Luxor gives me vertigo, I will probably never stay there. But the clubs are good. LAX is popular for celebrity sitings. You may even see Carrot Top on any given day! : ) My pick: MGM grand!

There are tons of things to do for a teen. You can go to M&M world and game place right next door. You can drive a race car to a video of a real race at the Sahara. There are plenty of roller coasters to ride in Vegas and lots of fun shops and outlet malls. You can see some shows. The excaliber has some neat stuff to see and do. For your boyfriend there is Bass Pro Shop and the custom harleys at the Silverton. Nascar Cafe is fun for lunch. This is just a tip of what there is for teens to do.

True you have to be 21 to gamble, but you can keep busy by seeing all the attractions from one end of the strip to downtown.

Plan on getting the free tourist magazines when you land or are in baggage claim. They have the activities at each Hotel or in the surrounding areas that you can do.

It's kinda hard to be bored at any age in Vegas.
