what is the time difference between here and japan?

and do they get cell phone service there if they have cingular can they call home.

First off - where is "Here"???

To the Eastern Time zone, Tokyo is 10 hours behind (it's 10:50pm here, 12:50pm there) - from the West Coast (Pacific Time), it's only 7 hours...

Your Cinular service WILL work - but you will be on International Roaming. This will cost you at least $2.00 a minute JUST for airtime!!!!

It would be cheaper if he made a call through the phone in the hotel room (or wherever he is staying) ;);)
