That is absolutely true. For guys too. I find the "plain" people to be more personable, funny, genuine, and less uptight than the beautiful who are always in competition with each other. Too much emphasis in our society is put unpon outer beauty because one day they will not be so beautiful and then they turn into depressed, bitter old people who end up lonely. I would much rather have a regular looking guy or someone who is not that attractive in the eyes of the world who can make me laugh and THINK than someone who spends so much time in front of the mirror.

Have you ever seen the movie, "A Perfect Mind"?
There's the scene where John Nash realizes his famous "equilibrium............."
A hot blonde and her four mousy brunette friends walk into a bar. If Nash and his three friends all compete for the blonde, then chances are most of them won't get lucky, since they can't very well flirt with her, and then try to pick up her friends when they get shut down.
Instead, if they *ignore* the blond and go for one of her friends instead, then they are much more likely to "score"....(i.e. sometime it's better to avoid the risk of competition.....)
So if you're a hot blonde, watch out, because most of the guys that hit on you are not going be as smart as John Nash, in fact they're probably stupid arrogant guys with big egos....

Amen for us "plain girls"! Don't get me wrong, beautiful women have wonderful personalities also. But I would say that there a few that definitely rely on their looks to get them through life and relationships.

Although I only have brothers, I do have
friends, who are like sisters. That applys too.
