This is the most inane opinion board I've ever seen. What happened to the REAL message threads on yahoo that used to attract adults?

For those of you who wrote, rather inanely in my opinion, that 'this is not a forum,' I recommend that you seek out the definition of the word. A forum is a marketplace, and any medium in which ideas are exchanged qualifies as such.

As far as 'discrimination' is concerned, I suggest that some of the young people here begin to consider that there are no easy answers in this life. Please develop your critical thinking skills, noting that there is ambiguity in words like 'discriminate' and 'critical.'

Ask yourselves, when something is 'critical,' is it vitally important, serious enough to require attention, or is it a caustic comment?

(With that in mind, I hope the young man who is critical of smoking will also share his discriminating comments with the obese.)

dis·crim·i·nat·ing (d-skrm-ntng) KEY
ADJECTIVE:
1. Able to recognize or draw fine distinctions; perceptive.
2. Showing careful judgment or fine taste: a discriminating collector of rare books; a dish for the discriminating palate.
3. Separating into distinct parts or components; analytical.
4. Serving to distinguish; distinctive: a discriminating characteristic.
5. Marked by or showing bias; discriminatory.

I am pretty sure this sight is open to all ages which should be kept in mind when asking or answering a question. Rule of thumb is keep it clean and no one gets hurt or feels like a perv because they get reported.
Not exactly sure what happened to the message board but this seems like more fun, personally. There are a number of sights for GBL&T to post messages and communicate with each other. Just go to your search engine and type in gay, lesbian or transgender message boards and you should be able to find a lot of sights maybe from people in your area.
Good luck

I don't usually post within this category, however, your message is disconcerting to the young people participating in this board. What is being said is "inane opinion(s)"? This discourages the patricipation of others and castigates what they have to offer, their dialogue, their queries and et cetera. What is being said is "inane" and therefore must be from young people? That is horribly discriminating and devalues the opinions and speech of the youthful generation.

I used to troll the yahoo message boards. Now THAT was fun. Although this Answer site doesn't measure up and is way too policed for it's own good, one can have some fun here asking inane questions. You just have to get creative with your dirty slang.
For me, the most fun is asking outrageous religious questions and watching the inevitable 90% or more who take it seriously.
