There’s a town that is supposedly “haunted by ghosts” that people go to visit.
We were walking around the town, and we stopped into the Post Office. So I walk into an office, which is just an empty room, with a desk and chair in a corner. I climb over the desk and sit in the chair, and wait for my family to get bored too so we can go. What I remember is feeling a hand grab me on my right shoulder. At first, I thought it was my brother playing a trick on me, but nobody else was in the room. I guess I was a little freaked out, so I quickly exited the room.
That night, we went on a ghost tour and the tour guide finally took us around to the post office. He told us that a man was confined to the post office, because the jail was full. He said that one of the builders working on the post office reported the feeling of being strangled by invisible hands. He took us to the room that it had happened in…and yep, it was the exact room I had felt the hand in.

Is that spooky?

Dunno if it is spooky; perhaps nice that it wasn't just your imagination. Most people go to haunted places with the pretense that it isn't haunted and nothing *weird* is going to happen but then are surprised when it does...hello! "haunted by ghosts"

Many times they'll pull your hair -- not hard, just a quick tug -- if they're really looking for attention; most people play it off as a 'twitch'...and sometimes if they're just patting on you on the head fondly...it feels like little creepy crawly bugs in your hair.

I have a more logical explanation for this. I'm a medium, and I have gotten that strangling sensation. A spirit who wants to hurt you will be very obvious. You can feel evil, it's heavy and it sits on you like a heavy blanket, one you can't wait to get away from. The hand didn't appear to attack you at all, and I can tell you for a fact that if he meant to, you'd know it. But the choking sensation is actually what happens when a spirit stimulates your throat chakra. It means he wants to communicate. I get that when I get a blockage in my chakra. The choking sensation literally means that my guide is stimulating it trying to tell me I need to clear it out. The man in that room is trapped there. He wants somebody to free him from that room is the feeling I get from him. No anger. Just, "hey, can you let me out of here?"

Yeah that is spooky, on the one hand I would like to experience something to know whether there is really any truth in it, but on the other hand I would be so scared if anything DID happen.

Yes but if you had not known that the town was "haunted" you would have simply forgotten about the incident and most likely brushed it off as nothing.
