First off relax! I know thats hard because we are also TTC but the more you stress about it the longer it may take. I know a woman who was TTC for over 5 years and the month they decided to give up she got pregnant! My neighbor also had a hard time concieving her second child. It took her 2 years and she was 21 at the time. But when it came to concieving her third she had no problem. But here are a few things that I have read to avoid and what to do to boost your chances:

- Learn what days you ovulate and have sex every other day or every other couple days to make sure that sperm is always inside you.
- Start taking 400mcg of folic acid now
- After sex elevate your hips and stay like that for 20 minutes just to give his sperm a head start
- Stop smoking/drinking/drugs
- You should stop or limit your caffine intake
- Dont over exercise.

And may want to go to the doctor and get a pre-check up. Every where I read its highly recommended.

If you go to babycenter.com you can find all sorts of different information to help you. It also has an ovulation calculator to find out what days you are most fertile and your fertile days for the next 5 motnhs. It also has some information for women getting pregnant in their 20's or 30's or 40's. And information for dad-to-be to consider too. Hope this helps and Good luck!!

It really depends, but here's just a few things.
- The problem could be with your partner, it's not always a case of the women being infertile - the man could have a low sperm count, which is attributed to several things including alcohol consumption, narrow vas defferens, stress, EDS(Erectile efficiency snydrome). Ensure that your partner/spouse avoids alcohol and stress inducing items which can cause an decline in the rate of sperm production.

- To improve your fertility, you can try eating ripened exotic fruits like mangos, bananas and pineapples. The high sugar level and enzymes within these fruits have historically been treated as fertility drugs in the ancient world.

- Various sex positions, while it's not entirely confirmed, certain sexual positions appear to offer a slight increase in the conception of a child.

- Avoid alcohol/smoking/extremely cold or warm temperatures inclusive of beverages or food after intercourse because these factors could offset the body's biological mechanisms (antibodies, etc).

I don't really know of anything that should be avoided, except perhaps unpasturized milk.

I think it would be good for you to relax a bit, and maybe nature will take over.

I did hear, once, that Robitussin was helping couples conceive. Rob thins mucus in the body, including the mucus in your cervix which, if thick enough, might keep sperm from getting in. Try some Robitussin.

Eat well, be healthy, get plenty of sleep, avoid stress. Exercise. All the normal stuff for being healthy.

I heard a study that Dad needs to lay off smoking and caffiene. Both of those tend to lower the sperm count.

I hope you are successful in obtaining your goal. My best guess is that you will make a wonderful mommy to this baby.

First off, go there and find out the dates when you will most likely ovulate and be most 'fertile'. The egg only lives for about 2 days..so you have to try and have sex during this time.

Tips:
- prop your bum up after sex for at least a half hour.put a couple pillows under you so that the semen doesn't spill out..and gravity will help them along toward your cervix.
- orgasm after he comes. hard to time, i know..but try it. The cervix dips down like lips to suck up the semen into the uterus. It's your own body's mechanism to aide in conception. If you find this hard, wait til he comes then manually stimulate yourself, or have hubby do this..until you orgasm.

The calculator and tips worked for me twice..no troubles.
Good luck!

there is constantly a 25% threat of concieving each cycle, although the sperm will get to the egg it will depend on if the egg will enable any sperm to get via to it after which it will depend on if it implants. what you're doing will aid however now not one hundred% assured
