UN resolutions have no law enforcment component unless the UN Security Council decides to provoke military action. So, 'resolutions' are really pointed suggestions. Israel seems to get the goat of a lot of people...why, is a good question. Either they don't like Jews, or they like the thugocracies that rule the Arab states. Either one of these makes no sense. Supposedly folks get steamed because we 'give' Israel a lot of money....true enough, but every dime of that money is spent in the US, mostly for military supplies. This is more of a subsidy to our 'defense industry' than a favor to Israel. Also, when you think about it, if the Arab thugs didn't insist on attacking Israel they wouldn't need all that military equipment. So simple, yet complex!

The variety is lots too super, in a perfect international then on a similar time as quickly as may be too many. although we don't stay in a perfect international, and it particularly is because of the fact too many everybody is a few distance to rapid to criticise incredibly than help be sure problems, a classic occasion is people who say that the UN is ineffective and then do no longer bypass directly to appreciate Why! The UN has no ability because of the fact the individuals do no longer help it by shielding their own governments in line, it incredibly is as a results of the user-friendly case of 'Panem et Circenses' which 'partus ex ruina.' it particularly is our international and the international of the few, people who we've allowed to think of that they are the vendors must be reminded that they are in easy terms the care takers and that they paintings with us. Ops populus.

About the same number as the US has ignored.....
As far as consequences -- UN resolutions are non-binding.
The UN has no enforcement authority, just what member nations agree to do. So, the lack of consequences isn't surprising.

There was actually a Resolution passed in the 1980's that read "All nations shall abide by International Law."
Only the US and Israel voted against it.

The USA will never side against Israel in any matter. The UN however, should do more to restrain Israel and their blind religious zealotry and self-righteousness under the guise of being the most victimized people in the world. They don't have a blank check to do whatever they want, but the USA (largely thanks to Jewish sympathizers, Christians who view it as holy land, and Zionists) sure doesn't act like it.

Not all countries recognize the un's authority to dictate what happens in their country.
244 entities considered to be countries, but only
192 members of the UN. There are countries out there that have no say in what goes on..
(remember here in us, we didnt like taxation without representation... well, some people dont like being governed by bodies they have no representation or voice in.)

Hezbollah terrorists and Hamas has ignored plenty. Under U.N. Security Council resolutions 1559 & 1701, Hezbollah should no longer exist. But Hezbollah continues to get more weapons and regroup after their deadly attacks last summer.
Because the U.N. security council has pro-terrorist members, the U.N. will continue to be useless in combating terrorism. China is one of the biggest supporters of Iran. It has helped Iran develop long range missiles and has been Iran's number one helper in enriching uranium to make HEU for the use in nuclear weapons.
In fact China wants Iran to continue developing nuclear weapons so the U.S. will attack Iran. Mao's military doctrine for Asia was to get America involved in as many wars as possible to weaken the U.S.. That doctrine is still used in China, for the last 50 years. (China lost over 1 million people while fighting Americans during the Korean War. China aided Vietnamese rebels. China got Russia to send new fighter jets to Venezuela).
Iran was the country that created Hezbollah.
