You need to get the actual address of the router. Since 192.168.2.1 didn't work it was probably changed also.
Double click on the small network comupter in the lower right hand side of your screen and then click the support tab. That will show the "Default Gateway" and that is the address to use to get into the router.

If you dont have those "little computers" in the lower right hand of your screen click on Control Panel -- Network Connections and view the adapter from there. Or you can run a command line -- Click start -- run type cmd on the black screen that appears type ipconfig /all and you can read the gateway address which will show under your IP address..

Hopefully the usename and password haven't changed. If they have just reset the router (there is a small button on the back which you can depress with a pen or paper clip) that will reset the router to the factory settings.

Try to push the reset button located underneath your router with a pin or similar item while plugged in for at least 10 seconds. Your router might be setup as an access point that's why you can't access its settings in your web browser. After pushing the reset button, wait at least 5 minutes then try to access it with the address given to you by the tech support, which is 192.168.2.1

the router will have a small round hole push a toothpick in this hole for 10 sec this will revert the router to factory settings
You then need to reprogram it
