I will be inheriting a property from my Grandma - together with 1 uncle and 1 Auntie. If I want to sell the property, do I need written consent from the other two? If 2 out of the 3 of us agree to sell, do we still need the 3rd consent??
I'm desperate for help plz!

If you will be joint owners, I believe you all 3 must agree to any sale. Because you would have a defacto partnership, you have the right to dissolve the partnership. The court can order the others to buy you out at whatever they determine is the fair value of you share, or force a sale and divide the proceeds. You should consult an attorney if the 3 of you do not agree.

If you are all inheriting the whole thing together (as opposed to each person inheriting 1/3 of it) then you need consent from all 3 to sell. You can also sell your interest in it, but this is generally a foolish thing to do. Get a lawyer if you want to try this, because you will be going down a bumpy road.

You can only sell your 1/3 to one of the other inheritors.

You would need complete agreement by all parties for the sale of the entire property.

You can sell your interest, but if you don't ok it with the family you'll regret it.
