The Moors where northern African Arabic Muslims and black converted Muslims that would attack southern Europe during the Dark Age. They had most for Spain for hundreds of years until losing it in 1492 when Isabella and Ferdinan kicked them out. 1492 seems to be a good year for the Europeans (finding the New World). Bad for everyone else.

Mostly North Africa, with elements from across the "Arabian" world. They conquered Spain and were on their way to taking chunks of France before Charlemagne halted them. T
Got to? Well the Christian kings eventually reconquered the peninsula. The Moors were slain, forced into exile, or forced to convert to Christianity or at least pretend that they had converted. Plenty of present day Spaniards can trace their ancestry to these converted Moors..

The Moors were Black people who followed both the Muslim and Christian doctrines. These people were Israelites. The Black rulers of Europe were Israelites who fled from Jerusalem when the Romans invaded in AD70. They fled into Africa and spread into Europe and were eventually taken into captivity. These people were the kingdom of Judah and the kingdom of Israel were in the Americas. These people today are so-called Negroes, Native Americans and Hispanics/Latinos.

This is what Europeans called the Arab Muslims who came to Europe from North Africa. They had a significant presence for centuries, especially in Spain. Some converted to Christianity and remained, but most went back to Africa or elsehwere in the Arab world. Of course, their blood remains in many Europeans, especially in Spain and surrounding areas.
