Yeah, a long time ago. Driving a truck after working too many hours. To tell you the truth, I don't know how long I was out. All I remember is waking up and still doing 65 on the freeway. Near death experience, that was. I'll never forget it.

Yes! Scared the holy crap out of me too. I bumped the medium which woke me up. At that time I worked at the hospital and had to pull a double 12 hour shift = 24 hours. I even drank coffee during the grave yard shift and had a couple cups before leaving for home. It does happen and it is scary. Thank God I only experienced this once in my life.

Yes, and got mad at a truck that was crowding me and the adrenalin kept me awake to the rest area. When I confronted the driver, he said I was all over the road and he had been gently trying to ease me off the right side in hopes the rumble strips would wake me. I thanked him and promised I would not leave the rest area until I'd had a good nap. And then I got in the car and slept for six hours.
If I could ever find him again, I'd like to thank him for saving my life.

Yes. Twice in my life once when I was 18 years old and the second time when I was 40. Hope to never do it again. It was just for a second but boy, when I think of what could of happened.........

Yes, unfortunately. I had been driving all day and the next thing I knew I woke up in the facing lane. Who knows how long I'd been asleep. Scared the heck out of me. I've never done that again.

Yep work a 36 hour shift for the military then have to drive 30mins home at 5 am.

Once In a Military convoy
And almost home with the whole family I almost went into a frozen swamp

yes, I have and when I woke up I was on the other side of the road going in the ditch. I was working second shift, and not getting enough sleep when I was home, I soon quit the job =]

no but a friend of mine recently did. ran off the road took out some trees did a 180 went down a ravine and snapped his neck

I'm enough of a danger behind the wheel while I'm awake. That's why I don't drive.
