The ice build up in the freezer is from an inoperative defrost system. Ice builds up on the freezer coils and clogs the freezer defrost drain. Call a professional repair person to get an estimate. You can not do the repair yourself

Check inside, the inside near the top or middle back of the refrigerator to see if there is a connection to the freezer that has slid down and you can see an opening. I have this problem. It sometimes slides down and then I get ice inside the fridge.

I say purchase someplace else or get a distinctive sort of refrigerator. I had a matching situation with my Kenmore refrigerator some months in the past. The repairman informed me it replaced into abused a approach or the different in the time of delivery to the shop and it knocked something around, i'm unsure. i think of it replaced right into a load of BS. ANY WHO, in case you would be up at night questioning what replaced into up, perchance write to the corporation? Ask what could have led to the concern?

I am a sears salesman, not the first time i have seen this. You need to have your water delivery tubing checked. Also i know some models can do this when your temp in the room is considerably higher then that inside the refrigerator. Hope this helps!
