I used to do that to my girlfriend all the time. She would talk my ear off on the phone after I told her I was tired, so I fell asleep. I'm also single now... no connection.

John, I had this happen to me and after many years I am still feaked out . I was on a trip with my husband we had been up all day and decided to drive home at 11 PM from Ohio to Virginia Beach We were young and never needed much sleep anyway. My husband drove at first I fell asleep about 2 am and about 3 am he woke me up and said I needed to drive a while he was getting sleepy. I was sleepy too . I was driving in the mountains of West Virgina the road went around and around I got so sleepy I was letting one eye rest then the other. I passed a car on a sharp no passing curve and just missed a 18 wheeler thats like the last thing I remember ....about 4 am in the Mountains in West virgina then I woke up still driving day llight on a straight road with not one car in sight !!! I looked at my watch it was 6:20 am I pulled off the road got the road map out and kept driving to see what highway I was on. when I came to a interstate sign I was in Virginia and on the correct road. this happened in 1973 and I have will never know what the heck happened but I will just thank God for taking me out of danger and saving our lives.

Not since I was in my teens. We would have a sleepover and play truth or dare. I would ask a question and I wouldnt get a response for like an hour lol. Then they would ask and get a response in like an hour lol. But it was a mutual falling asleep haha

Ok I so can't believe I'm going to admit this. *sigh* Yes.

This was actually like three years ago. I had this friend who was constantly pursuing me and I had no interest. So I'm talking to him on the phone and I'm going on and on and on about why this isn't working and who I am and what I need in life and who he is and what is right for him. And then I paused..... and said his name over and over....... nothing. And then..... I hear it. The snores. *smacks head* I had put the guy to sleep. If ever I knew that I had done the right thing....... it was at that moment!!
