How do you make terrorists "less eager" to kill us? Shower them with love? Clinton tried it. Didn't work. Appease them? Carter tried it. Didn't work. Maybe we should just give them what they want. What do they want? They want us to convert to Islam or die. That wasn't as scary back when they were just a bunch of lunatics in the middle of the desert who hijacked a plane every so often. But now they're on the verge of possessing nuclear weapons. We can no longer stick our heads in the sand and hope we don't do anything to make them dislike us more.

It will be world war III and Bush is going to take us there. He had already walked all over congress and there is nothing holding him down. Iran has been his main objective all along notice how Bushs new military generals are all talking about the southern border in Iraq and how much Iran is infiltrating the country. It's very close too.

Do Americans realise that US military strategists are saying that the whole of the US fleet could be destroyed without even being able to retaliate against Iran? This is due to geography and the Russian made Sunburn missiles Iran has been stockpiling.

People who say bomb Iran are simply childish, high-testosterone, insecure idiots who view blowing things up & killing people who disagree with you as the best form of foreign policy.

They obviously don't take very seriously "Do unto others as you would have done unto you". Instead, they support the philosophy of "Nuke anybody you think is an enemy." Very enlightened, humane, and intelligent.

Mentally primitive & unevolved Americans like dead marxist, roadkill, leanne, tommy, euka, etc. should try putting themselves in other people's shoes.

If America was surrounded by +30 Iranian military bases, wouldn't America feel threatened? If America had 0 nukes and Iran had 5,000 operational strategic nukes + 4000 in reserve, wouldn't this be unfair to America? If America's neighboring oil rich country Canada was being occupied by Iran for the past 5 years, wouldn't America feel that maybe we were the next target if we had the 3rd largest oil reserves in the world? If Iran's lunatic conservative president was talking about bombing America because America allegedly wanted to develop nukes, then wouldn't Iran be in the wrong? If Iran spent $400 billion a year to subsidize the most powerful & deadly military force the world has ever seen, while America only spends $6 billion, wouldn't Iran be the bigger threat to world peace & stability? Wouldn't Iran appear to be the imperialistic bully of the world? In this situation where the tables were completely reversed, it would be quite understandable if America were anti-Iranian.

If America were so powerless and Iran were so powerful, would you as an American just cower, bow, and obey Iran when Iran orders America not to develop nukes? Or would you want to stand up for yourself and defy Iran?

Seek first to understand your "enemy" - but bloodthirsty, fear-mongering, uncivilized morons want to seek to nuke first.

But apparently, trying to understand where other people are coming from and putting yourself in other people's shoes is just too much of a mental exercise for idiot Americans that want to bomb Iran. Instead, these idiots simply label other people as anti-American, without realizing that American military & foreign policy is responsible for creating so called "anti-American" sentiment. And we Americans are complicit by continually allowing our country to be hijacked & manipulated by a select few who are supported by these 100 million brainwashed idiots who still think Mr. Bush is presidential material and that America is a "force for good in the world", and the "land of the free & home of the brave".

Yes, truly a force for good in Iraq, and very brave to bomb a Third World country for wanting to build a nuke (allegedly) when we ourselves have +9,000 nukes.

But at least we're free to be ignorant idiots, and proud of it. What a tragedy.

On the other hand, a lot of the people in the Middle East are already "eager to kill us" - what difference does it make if they become "more eager to kill us?"
If they succeed in developing atomic weapons, just plain "eager to kill us" is threatening enough, don't you think?

Well, I realize its not going to make them like us. But I disagree with the idea it will make them more eager to kill us. I think if we'd just go ahead and use nukes they'd lose their enthusiasm for killing Americans. I think they'd soon realize that its a bad idea to be killing Americans. Or they'd find themselves extinct.

They don't need to like us to leave us alone. Its our job to make sure killing Americans hurts them worse than us.

There is only two ways for this to end. We either win, and utterly and completely defeat the islamo fascist or we lose and become Muslims or are killed by them.

no they don't. as a group we Americans are currently so screwed up, opinion wise, we can't see the the real threats and separate them from our preconceived notions.

for example...defensive missiles in eastern Europe to defend against Iranian rockets. non-sense...the only potential rocket threat would be from a country that has the rockets and the nukes. A+ if you said Pakistan. where are Muslim fundamentalists currently at their most secure...Pakistan. where are U.S. forces not allowed to specifically go in the "war" on terror...the northwest border region of Pakistan. what dictatorship is one assassination away from becoming a fundamentalist Muslim state...Pakistan. watch events in Pakistan my fellow Americans and carefully consider the options. your government is and dosen't want you to wise up.

No. You beg the question that there is a reservoir of yet-untapped hatred of the U.S. in the Moslem world. A seventh-century death-cult declared war on us years ago and we have yet to respond on a broadly sufficient scale.
