I like a clean home since my daughter is into everything and put it in her mouth quite often. I love Clorox and other disinfecting chemicals but they are harsh smelling. What other products can I use?

I use Pine Sol products only. The trick with using any product is to use the right amount. If you correctly measure the amount the scent will not bowl you over or leave a nasty residue.

You'd be surprised how well some regular kitchen items disinfect and clean great. Use baking soda to scour and disinfect. Leaves a fresh clean smell. Lemon juice to cut grease and vinegar for glass and wood floors. Cleans to a gorgeous shine and leaves a fresh clean smell in the house. Dilute all of these in 1 to 3 part water and youll have a spanking clean house.

Lysol products are great for disinfecting. 409 and Fantastik both have anti-bacterial kitchen sprays. I use them every time I wipe my kitchen counter, table, floor, etc. Harsh smelling stuff really bothers me. I want my house to smell clean, but I don't want it to bowl you over. Before I buy any cleaning product, I open each bottle and take a whiff. I've got to be sure I can tolerate it in the house. Just call me Super-Sniffer.

Get a natural cleaning product. Search the Internet for non-harmful cleaning agents, you may find them at your store - Simple Green is a choice also. Check ingredients at the store. No petro-chemicals is a good thing!
