The record books don't differentiate between clean and dirty players, otherwise every spit baller would be gone. Every person who ever had a corked bat would be gone. Every coke user and alcoholic would be gone. And then if Bonds is gone, so are McGwire, Sosa, Palmiero and every other player even suspected of using over the years. Not going to happen.

He should not even make it into the record books in my opinion. And if he does, he should definitly be labeled as a steriod user.

There no room to put the word "steriod user" in the record book.

The sooner people realize that it wasn't just Bonds, Sosa and McGwire who did steroids the better. Performance enhancing drugs have bee on the market for close to 60 years now. So, who knows if Roger Maris or Hank Aaron or other "clean" ballplayers used steroids or not. Besides, the guy above me is right, people have cheated like crazy since baseball was invented via spitballs, corked bats, steroids, pine tar and God knows what else.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree with the other person. You can't just start putting asterisks now. What about in the 50's when people did x, or McGwire and his usage. It's so hard to look back. Unless they are willing to test EVERYONE to differentiate it's not fair to put an asterisk just next to his name.

Keep Bonds, McQuire, Sosa, Palmero and the rest of the Juice Heads out. Measure thier heads when they are rookies and anyone whose head grows over 6 hat sizes is out.

na he'll make it anywayz
look at bonds numbers before he got bigger and used steriods. He was a big basestealer and hit for average and decent power.
He would've made it regardless but he shouldn't make it just for stooping down to their level. Plus he's racist.

They shouldn't put him in, but if they do then they should definetly label him as a steriod user.

He should just make it if he makes it. It wasn't illegal "IF" he was using them when he was alleged to have used them.
I think if Babe Ruth had had access to steroids he would have used them.
If he is using them now and gets caught he should be banned forever from hall of fame like Pete Rose.
