i would get a san disk sansa, the come in 256,512, mb 1, 2 Gb for the non color models, 2 4 6 and 8 for the colored models, i have a 512 mb non color, umm, m 230, and it works really good, never crashed, or freazed at all. you can buy that for around 40 to 50 dollars, the 2 gb color is around 100 dollars 4gb color is 120 to 140 i think, the color models have pics, and music. the ones i mentioned for color have a 1.8 inch screen which play videos also.

Creative Zen Vision....30GB but not sure about the organizer/alarm clock though.
It is bulky but it's worth it....about $250 at BestBuy, not including the waranty
