yes-one should think through rather than repenting later!
We have been given intelligence to think and should weigh the pros and cons before coming to a final decision on any issue. Further, we can seek the help of frens and relatives too to seek their views-but can finally decide ourselves! We then dont need to blame anyone else if things dont work out.
Think well, buddy! All the Best!

It depends on how quick I have to make the decision and how big the decision is. I am pretty quick to react if it is life threatening. If on the other hand, it is something that is very important, but I am allowed time, then I do research and try to make the best decision based on all the terms in front of me. And then, I don't look back and live with my decision with no regrets because the other way was not meant to be or it would have happened. I also pray that God helps me choose wisely.

Totally depends on the urgency of the situation and the complexity of the matter at hand.
Most decisions can be made quickly due to similarities to past experiences. But if one comes against a totally new situation with which you have had no past experience or knowledge, it may be required that one take time to come up with a plan of action.
Peace

Almost all the time I would say no. I either just immidiatly go for a decisions or I'll "think" about it. But when I think about it, i'm not really evaluating anything lol. I pretty much just stall for time... Just telling myself which each decsicion will cause, but it doesn't make me gravitate towards either decsision. But prehaps when i do that my subconcous mind is evaluating it? Krishnamurti was right when he said freedom means there is no decision lol

Except for some minor decisions, yes. I want to consider how the decision will effect both myself and those around me. Additionally, I want to consider the long range effects on all concerned or related.

I try not to.
When I do, I think it through wayyy too much and I end up prepared for something that never ends up happening.
Either that, or I'll think of the worst things that can happen and then end up regreting making that decision.
So I just dont do that anymore =]

yes and no..sometimes i go with my head while other times w/ my heart..sometimes i say things before i think while other times i am rational..i am a rational person in most situations since after taking a philo class i learned that you need to think things throughly before you jump and make decisions or to conclusion.the more rational you are the better you think and the less mad you are the less to make a stupid decision.

Usually, it really depends on the importance of the decision being made, and if I feel it could have lasting consequences or not.

If it is an important decision, I always do. I weigh the pros and cons and find myself asking lots of "what if" questions. If I have done all of that and still don't find a clear answer, then I rely on my intuition.
