I want to go to Florida soon, and I've only been to Clearwater beach. I think it's beautiful and I love it, but I'd like to go somewhere new. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Sanibel Island is always nice. I have been going there since I was a kid. The beaches are white and beautiful and the water is pretty blue. Sanibel also has some of the best shelling in the world the Atlantic and the Gulf meet here. The whole island of Sanibel is a wildlife sanctuary and there is plenty of wildlife to look at. The locals have fought hard to keep corp. America out so you will not find anything like a McDonalds. They do have a very small DQ with no large sign; hey they have to get their ice cream somewhere. Great shopping, wonderful restaurants, clean quiet beaches that are not over crowded what else do you need? There is tons to do on the island and the surrounding areas. Hope this helps you! Personnally I prefer the Emerald Coast from Panama City Beach to Fort Walton.

I don't know its name, but the beach that Naples pier is on. You get an awesome view of the sunset.
