Sheehan is gonna run against Pelosi? She is just a bitter, grief-stricken woman who needs to go get some counseling, get some closure about her son, and get on with life. You can dislike war all you want...nobody really wants war...but to do what she has done and is proposing to do is ridiculous. Her son knew what he was getting into. Anyone else agree?

I think she is a disgrace to families of soldiers. Even if you don't personally agree with the "concept" of war, and who really does?, it seems that you could at least support the ones who have chosen to honor their country and defend it. She may have thought her son proud of her in the beginning but I'm sure he is quite embarrassed by the whole thing now.

I agree that her son knew what he was getting into and I appreciate his sacrifice.
Cindy Sheehan is an adult some think is nuts but I can't see where she is any more affected than most political types, especially those on the left. I think it's good she's taking on Pelosi. It will be an interesting bout. Imbecile against imbecile.

I thought Pelosi and her gang of Democrats were going to put a stop to this 'war'. Apparently I thought wrong, and - as a liberal, that disappoints me greatly.

That poor woman. She is sick and mentally unstable. She doesn't need to get over her son's death (it would help though), but she does need to get over herself. She's even pissing off the liberals now.

She was totally estranged from her son before he was killed...she left him and his father for her own selfish reasons, and using your own dead son for political gain is absolutely shameful.
