I think the "green" lifestyle is to incorporate eco-friendly ideas into our normal, everyday lifestyle of technology whether if it means changing our lightbulbs or driving hybrid cars, or unplugging our appliances after we use them or going vegan/vegetarian.

Sure it is. Green is getting back to basics; trying to return the world to the way it once was.
Inventions and technologies that have taken place in the last 50 or 100 years are primary sources of what's wrong--we need to try to correct it now.

I don't think so. I think that the whole "Green" life stile is about changing little things in your daily life to help the invirnment. Like driving hybrids, and using energy star appliances.

I think it goes both ways, i.e. to some extent returning to the ways we had yrs ago as well as having new technology that's 'greener' than what we have nowadays. E.g. in transport, they're encouraging using bicycles as well as hybrid cars that are more environmental friendly in their fuel usage. Also, I would think that new technology would be needed to undo the damage we have caused.
