I do see Paul Rubens on talk shows and such every now and then, but do you think there's even a small chance that he'll ever bring PeeWee back?

not sure, but lemme say this...after the 'minor unpleasantness' he was TOTALLY ostracized by the moral majority. hollywood in particular. when society finally forgave him (2years later) and was invited back into the fold, his defining moment (for me) was when he got onstage, stepped up to the mic and said, "So...heard any good jokes?" haha. excellent!
