Somebody said American History is boring...Have you read its History? I´m not an American myself, however I love American History, specially Civil Rights and Revolution and many other aspects of American History.

The years 1860 - 1865 are the part of American History that I find most interesting.

There are 3 areas of study, The American Revolution, WW II and the early Cold War up to the early 60's. These areas are just interesting to me. The Revolution for the birth of this country, WW II for the U.S. coming of age as a true giant of the world and the early Cold War for the U.S. emerging as a Superpower and containing Communism.

Probably the parts that involve division of opinions and ideas. Civil War and revolutions - on the grand scale, "THE Revolution" or on the smaller scale- changing of political nature. It shows shaping in the country as a whole and shows the strength of the country that can withstand such divisions.
Oh my, now I'm starting to sound like a real patriot.

I love all pre 1900 American history. After WWII it gets really rather boring and tainted with more falsehoods.

The really ealier days ie; pre 1720. It is facsinating to see read accounts from people in this time perio, because it reveals so much about the a now lost world.

The Declaration of Independence, Constitution and it is still effective. Has not had to be modified much either.

American History is really boring......but if i had to chose one it would have to be America's involement in WW2
