there are 2 ways this happens:
1) you asked a question & got best answer at the same time
10-5 = 5
2) your best answer had 5 thumbs up which got you 5 more points

actually sometimes when u visit and answer right away you get five points,
i signed into yahoo before and answered a question right away and it gave me five points
