back pack or tote bag?

Question

i'm going into high school this fall, i have to get a new bag to hold my stuff. I'm not sure how much stuff i am going to have to carry around with me.
If you are in high school answer this

What kind of backpack /tote bag should i use?
is a back pack nessesary?
Can i use a big tote bag instead , like one from abercrombie and hollister?
what kind of backpacks or whatever do people use in high school?

im going into high school too, and im carrying a tote. i have one from hollister and abercrombie. and i have a janesport and nike backpack for when i have a lot of stuff to carry.

well im going to be a sophmore next year =]

and in my school, they give you an option of whether u want to use a locker or not, but the lockers are way to small and the hallways are so crowded and there isnt enough time to use one so literally no one does. so id say, yes it is nessesary.

it doesnt really matter what u bring. alot of ppl use back packs, but alot of girls bring totes, basically because they are cuter lol.


so n e tote from like hollister or abercrombie is good i guess. also try some vera bradely stuff [www.verabradly.com] but u can bring whatever u want ; ]

i preferred a back pack when I was in high school and college. I had way too many heavy books (usually 20 - 30 pounds), and just carrying a tote bag on one shoulder caused way too much pain on my shoulder. I switched to back pack and was much happy. i know that's not a fashionable answer for you, but it saved my back. And I am more of a practical person for stuff like bags.

I think I had an eddie bauer one.

YOu should use a coach or a dooney and bourke purse if you are planning on using one the whole year. If you want to frequently change them i would use a tote bag from a store you like. No a back pack is not necessary and they are sometimes not allowed. All my friends and I just use our small purses and then carry our books.

you should buy both; a cute tote bag from abercrombie/hollister/AE and a jansport backpack. switch off whenever you have a lot of hw that night.
