First, how do you define a "failure?" If one is very introspective, they could "track back" what seemed a failure at the time, but the journey of consequences are anything but that. I'm certain some people will say that we "learn" from our failures. What do we learn? That they weren't failures at all, just little wrinkles that appeared to be AT THE TIME. Success is a rather empty word to me. To accomplish a goal one feels worthy, that is quite different than "success." & even not to have accomplished it, but to have put our best into it--isn't that what counts? I don't remember my life in terms of success OR failure.

i think for many the reverse, its very important to keep track of your successes, both big and small, as we often tend to only notice the major successes, but we remember the failures, even the small ones, and really its true that even in success or failure, we will find some of the other,

I may consider the successes for a few moments to determine what I did right so i will be sure to include that in my life's plan. However, I spend more time with my failures and try to determine where I messed up so I will not make the same mistake twice.

"When you do things right, people will not be sure if you have done anything at all."
People tend to notice your mistakes more then your accomplishments. We live in a world were if you make a mistake, everybody is all on your back, but when we do something right, it seems nobody notices!
BUT, I think it is easier for YOU to remember where you rose up and overcame, because it was such a huge mountain that you climbed, that you feel great about yourself and will always look unto that memory for inspiration.
So in short, Others usually remember your failures,
But you usually remember your accomplishments more, and really, that's ALL that matters.

Wonder if it's like the man who does good always falls below the mark, but the man who does evil always goes beyond his calling.
I stucks between wondering if it's easier to bring up success with others while the failures are more easy to not bring up, or if this isn't somehow true.

I think it becomes easier to remember your successes - because usually the intensity of things fades with time and the memories of your failures are not as clear. They start to seem "not quite as bad." I think your memories of successes fade somewhat, too, but you're just left with a warm feeling of satisfaction.

It depends on what how I'm feeling. If I'm happy, I remember my successes more than failures. If I'm sad, all my bad memories and failures come rushing back to me.

Success has many fathers. Failures have none.
Still...for me...failure is a justification of your experience and your knowledge. Knowledge and experience that you use to get success. So it is equally balanced because balance is required in life.

Well when you try, try and try and get nowhere its hard to be happy about successes that you want so bad but havent happened yet. All Im starting to see about the world is A LOT of ignorant, self absorbed individuals who dont even consider giving super passionate, skilled, and driven people like me a chance.
