MMMMMMMMMM when I was a sweet innocent 19, my friend that happened to be a boy would take me night fishing...and that is what we did...kissed alot, but it was all innocent.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (country) has a song "Fishin' in the Dark." He was a DJ and he played "I Love the Way You Love Me" by John Michael Montgomery dedicated just for me. I can still smell his skin in my mind. He was a real man.

It has been 15 years, and still hearing those 2 songs makes my heart beat faster and makes my palms moist just remembering those special times with my dear friend, "JDW."

He is married with 2 kids now too, and I bet he is a wonderful husband and father.

I am sad we couldn't make it work, but I am happy that I have those memories. They will always be in a special place deep in my heart.

I'd love to say I am married to my soulmate, but I am not. He was my soulmate.

"No we'll never know.....what might have been...."

Lynyrd Skynyrd "Freebird". Although it's just one memory, I still have a difficult time listening to the song and I'm just as likely as not to change the station if it comes up on the radio.
