If you've been paying your bills and have not been late time and time again all they do is add it on to your next bill along with a late fee. You can pay it now online and maybe skip the late fee if the due date has not passed.

As was mentioned you could try calling them and seeing if they can spare you the late fee. Anyway you need to keep on top of your bills as not all companies are as forgiving with late payments a credit card company could and might very well report you for a late payment.

Michael M's stupid post is dead wrong. He must have worked for Verizon as a janitor or something. Anyway, you need to call and make a payment as soon as possible, or at least call and set up arrangements. After the bill is late, usually anytime 30 days after it was due, service may be disconnected. You definitely may be able to get the late fee waived by a customer service representative if you dont have a history of late fees.

No i don't think that they will shut you down, they will just send you a 2 in 1 bill. But you will have tosettle this one by the due date or maybe no more chance- you'll get cut off

explain and then say I want a supervisor
you can beat this off
plus tell them you are a good customer and not to be charged the $5 late fee.
Supervisor do not talk to the customer service person that answers they never take the customer's side.
then tell supersvision you are a long time customer and want some free minutes can do this
